Acts 18:18-28

Please fill in the blanks as Pastor Terry delivers today’s Bible teaching.

  • Acts 18:23b- For Paul set out from there and traveled from place to place throughout the region of Galatia and Phrygia, strengthening all the disciples.

4. We aren’t told a lot about Apollos but we are given several specifics that help us realize he was a very UNIQUE personality.

  • Acts 18:24- Meanwhile a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria came to Ephesus. He was a learned man, with a thorough knowledge of the Scriptures. 25- He had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and he spoke with great fervor and taught about Jesus accurately, though he knew only the baptism of John.

8. Two Lessons:

    a. It was a good thing for A & P to IMPART knowledge to Apollos.

    b. It was a good thing for Apollos to open himself up to

be TAUGHT & INSTRUCTED by them.

5. The very fact God gave His SON for mankind is proof of our worth to Him!

7. Typically the Per-vert seeking to Pa-vert something is very covertly CAUTIOUS.  (Why? They do not want to get caught)

8. As members of the forever family of God we should purpose to continue living out our lives in ways that GLORIFY God.

  • Revelation 3:14- “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. 15- I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot.
